Course Objectives
Jupyter Notebook is an interactive Web application that allows integration of code, data, and rich text in a single document, allowing users to interactively analyze data and share the analysis with others. In this hands-on course, participants will learn how to setup and use the Jupyter Notebook. The course covers basic operations as well as advanced topics such as typesetting equations with MathJax, important notebooks as code, writing extensions in JavaScript etc. At the end of this course, participants should have sufficient proficiency to use Jupyter Notebook for day-to-day data analysis tasks.

Dr. Bhojan Anand 

Dr. Bhojan Anand is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. He has received PhD in Computer Science from National University of Singapore. He has received several awards including Dean's graduate research achievement award, University first rank and State rank scholarship. His thesis was nominated for Best PhD Thesis Award (Wang Gungwu Medal & Prize). He was a mentor and visiting scholar at MIT Gambit lab (2008), USA.

He serves in the technical programme committee and organising committee of premier conferences such as ACM-MM, ACM-MMSys/MMVE, NETGAMES, IEEE/IPSJ ICMU, EDULearn, ICERI. He is vice president of International Researchers Club, Singapore. He served as consultant/trainer on Industrial Info-Comm Technologies (IoT/M2M and Analytics), Singapore Industrial Automation Association.

He has over 24 years experience teaching programming courses, wireless networks (IoT), Data Analytics, robotics/AI, games and virtual reality systems. He has received best presenter award in training adult working professionals under Singapore Industrial Automation Association. He has published five books on mobile computing and networks and two books on robotics/AI.
