NUS partners DSTA for the NUS All-You-Can-Learn programme

6 March 2019 – The National University of Singapore (NUS) has signed a project agreement with the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) for the NUS All-You-Can-Learn (NUS AYCL) programme.

A skills-based training model for employers, the NUS AYCL will upskill and reskill staff through industry-relevant courses that have been curated from 17 NUS faculties and schools.

The agreement will see both organisations collaborate in identifying and matching DSTA’s training needs with the appropriate course – as well as customising courses for DSTA, where necessary.

DSTA will fulfil the training of staff to the tune of 1,000 training days per year, over the next three years.

Professor Susanna Leong, NUS Vice Provost (Lifelong Education), said: “We have recently signed MOUs for the AYCL programme with partner organisations such as ST Engineering, Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd, DSO National Laboratories, ST Logistics – and we are today delighted to be able to add DSTA to this list.

“I would like to applaud DSTA for your commitment towards the training and development of your staff and talent in areas such as Data & Business Analytics, Cloud Computing, IoT, Intelligent Sensing, Information Security, Robotics, AI, and Leadership & Management. On behalf of NUS, we look forward to a fruitful partnership in the coming years.”
