NUS SCALE appoints new Dean and Deputy Dean

15 January 2020 – The NUS School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (NUS SCALE) has appointed Professors Susanna Leong and Peter Ho respectively as Dean and Deputy Dean.

Professor Leong is concurrently Vice Provost (Masters Programme & Lifelong Education), where she is responsible for programmes and initiatives on Continuous Education and Training (CET) in NUS.

She has worked closely with Faculties and Schools to develop the University’s graduate coursework offerings, and was instrumental in the launch of lifelong learning initiatives such as the NUS Lifelong Learners and NUS CET500 programmes.  She spearheaded the organisation of the SkillsFuture Festival @ NUS 2019, a national-level event that was attended by about 3,400 members of the public.

Professor Ho is concurrently serving as Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Science, where he is experienced in the development of its CET offerings.

Professor Leong takes over as the second Dean of NUS SCALE from Professor Wei Kwok Kee, who served as the school’s founding Dean since its establishment in 2016.
