With immense technological advancement and an increasingly disruptive operating environment, the ability to anticipate and respond to rapidly changing conditions is at the forefront of most business leaders’ minds. To enjoy sustained success, organisations and teams require leaders who can develop an agile mindset to lead in an increasingly complex digital workplace.

The programme will enable learners to appreciate the importance of leadership agility and to lead effectively in the disruptive digital economy. Through an established framework, learners will examine their current level of leadership agility and develop it further to enhance their leadership effectiveness.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Mr. Dennis Ng

 

Dennis Ng is a Senior Teaching Fellow at NUS SCALE and a people leader that is purpose focused and values centred in the quest for excellence. Dennis successfully led and transformed public and private enterprises through organisation development and capabilities building. He has vast experience in collaborating with Board members, business owners, executives and HR partners in government agencies, MNCs, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Institutes of Higher Learning as well as a Government-to-Government projects in Qatar.

As a practitioner in the field of organisational transformation, Dennis successfully led organisational intervention programmes to steer operating capabilities and business performance. He also facilitated technology road mapping blueprints for SMEs in the industry wide transformation programme. Dennis helmed senior leadership positions in public sector and the recreational club industry. He has successfully restructured a complex resort with strong customer service culture. One of Dennis’ core specialisations is in the area of executive coaching and he has coached business leaders and young talents in Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe.

Dennis teaches courses on organisational culture, leading change, design thinking and leadership agility. He has successfully curated and facilitated leadership development programmes for senior management teams and leaders from large enterprises to start-up companies. Dennis is the programme lead of the Strategic Leadership Masterclass for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and the Mindfulness Leadership programme for airport operators and regulators with the Singapore Aviation Academy.

Dennis is active in community work with his family. He is a certified Action Learning Coach by the World Institute for Action Learning, an Executive Coach of Linkage Asia and the Singapore Armed Forces. Dennis is also a business transformation facilitator of A*STAR and a certified associate with Emergenetics International.

Dr. Amirhassan Monajemi

 

Amirhassan Monajemi is a Senior Lecturer in AI and Data Science with the School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Before joining the NUS, he was with the Faculty of Computer Engineering, University of Isfahan, Iran, where he was serving as a professor of AI and Machine Learning. He was born in 1968 in Isfahan, Iran. He studied towards BSc and MSc in Computer Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), and Shiraz University respectively. He got his PhD in computer engineering, pattern recognition and image processing, from University of Bristol, Bristol, England, in 2005. His research interests include AI, Machine Vision, Data Science, and IoT.

Dr. Monajemi has taught diverse computer courses for years, registered a few patents in the fields of AI, Machine Vision, and Signal Processing applications, published more than a hundred research papers in peer-reviewed, indexed journals, and supervised several Data Science, IoT, and AI industrial projects in various scales. He chaired the 1st International Conference on IoT, Applications and Infrastructure in 2017. He is mostly interested in Intelligent IoT, and has presented that topic in a few seminars and conferences. He also was the advisor of IKCO (Iran Khodroo Car Manufacturer, the largest in the middle east), and MSC (Mobarakeh Steel Complex, the largest in the country) enterprises in the field of IoT and Industry IV establishment.
