FAQs

Q1. When do the R&G Virtual Vouchers expire?

All Resilience & Growth (R&G) Virtual Vouchers have expired as of 1 April 2024.
If you have not used any of the R&G Virtual Vouchers, you will receive 1 NUS Lifelong Learning (L3) for Alumni eVoucher in your Online Application Portal (OAP) e-wallet.

Completion of Professional Certificates

Q1. Is there a deadline I need to complete the Professional Certificate?  

R&G Virtual Vouchers can only cover courses that start on or before 30 June 2024.
If there are any pending courses that you have yet to start on 1 July 2024, you will be withdrawn from them. If you wish to complete those courses, please re-apply and pay the corresponding tuition fees.


Withdrawal from Professional Certificates

Q2. Can I withdraw from the Professional Certificate if I am unable to continue due to unforeseen circumstances? Will there be any penality? 

If you have utilised your Virtual Voucher on a Professional Certificate, the Virtual Voucher would be deemed to have been consumed if you subsequently withdraw.

Completion for Modular Courses

Q1. Where can I view my final results? How do I subscribe to the SMS service to receive my exam results?

You may access EduRec to view your exam results. To subscribe to SMS Service to receive examination results, login to EduRec and navigate to Academics > Examinations > click on 'Subscribe to SMS Notification'.


Q2. What certification will I get at the end of the semester?

  • Official Transcripts:

You may apply for an official academic transcript (fee apply) from the Student Services Centre or through Online Transcript Application portal (select I am an Alumnus /Other).

  • Unofficial Transcripts:

Unofficial transcripts can also be printed from EduRec (via MyHomePage > Academics > Examinations) with your NUSNET ID. Please refer to the User Guide in the NUS Student Portal on how to view unofficial transcript (accessible via NUS network).

  • E-Certificate: 

An electronic certificate will be issued to all students who complete the course(s) from Academic Year 2019/2020 onwards.

  • Certificate of Competence - if the student receives a 'C' grade or above or Completed Satisfactory (CS) grade for the module(s)
  • Certificate of Participation - if the student receives a grade lower than 'C', a Completed Unsatisfactory (CU) grade or Audit grade for the module(s).

Withdrawal from the Modular Course

Q3. Can I withdraw from the course if I am unable to continue due to unforeseen circumstances? Will there be any penalty?

You may withdraw from the course(s). Depending on when (within the academic calendar) you submit your withdrawal, a corresponding letter grade ("W" for withdrawn or "F" for failed) may be recorded and if you are taking a course on an Audit Basis, the letter grade "W" will be recorded. Please refer to this link for more information.

To withdraw from a course, you can download the withdrawal form from the NUS Student Portal and mail it to the address indicated. You may retain your student card which can be used upon your next return to take modules.

If you have already chosen to utilise your Virtual Voucher on a course, the Virtual Voucher would be deemed to have been consumed. Please note that Tuition Fee and Student Services Fee (SSF) paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
