Course Objectives

As leaders in your industry, you have the responsibility to lead and transform your organisation to be agile and proactive in anticipating and adapting to rapidly changing business environments, for example, changing demographics of worker population and digital disruption.

This course will provide you with the concepts, methods, frameworks and industry-specific case studies, to diagnose the state of transformation in your organisation, analyse industry trends, identify potential gaps to effect holistic transformation and develop a ‘transformation roadmap’ unique to your organisation’s vision, purpose and strengths.

At the end of this course, participants will learn:

Darlene Uy

Darlene Uy has 15 years of experience in supply chain management, learning and leadership development in local, regional and global roles with Procter & Gamble, Halogen Foundation, Unilever and Essilor. She has led initiatives and created programmes to develop management and leadership capabilities across all levels of the organization, to foster individual growth and support the business and societal goals of the organisation. In her previous roles, she also had a special focus on Asia Pacific, to strengthen people development and thereby sustain business growth.

As a facilitator, Darlene believes that powerful learning experiences can be the engine of strategy execution. She brings to her work both vision and execution, logic and empathy, seriousness and play. She enjoys working with teams and organisations that are open to learning, prototyping, and seek to unleash individuals’ potential and harness collective strengths and wisdom to achieve common goals.

Darlene is a certified executive coach and holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Consulting and Coaching for change from INSEAD Business School.


Joel Tan

Joel Tan has experience in consulting and international banking, with multiple involvements in facilitating large-scale digital change management initiatives. He is a strong believer in driving companies to innovate not only to improve efficiency but to stay relevant.

His previous experiences at Accenture (Orbium) also include working on a digital banking app with an omnichannel platform and conceptualizing the go-to-market strategy of a mobile lifestyle app. He has also evaluated and proposed enhancements for a FinTech’s client onboarding solution.

Past experiences include working in foreign banks Citibank N.A., ABN AMRO Bank N.V., and Toronto-Dominion Bank.

Joel holds a BSc. In Economics and Finance from Singapore Management University. He has since completed courses in SMU’s FinTech & Innovation, IDEO’s Human-Centered Design and the SMU-Accenture Digital Transformation Masterclass.
