OVERVIEW
Communication across transnational social and political boundaries can be challenging due to different cultures and laws. When messages have to be pushed out to different geographical markets, one size does not fit all.
The Global Media Communication specialisation track of the National University of Singapore (NUS) Master of Social Sciences in Communication (MSocSci (Communication)) programme will delve into the social and political sensitivities behind the media and digital space in Singapore, Asia and beyond.
On this track, students will get an Asian perspective, learning about the region's historical communicative contexts, while maintaining an innovative, global outlook to prepare them for the world stage. They will examine cutting-edge methods and concepts which can be adopted to facilitate such flows, especially within a global media and communication industries framework.
This specialisation track will be suitable for leaders and executives who are working with/in global media businesses and industries connected to the Asian market.
