Professor Bernard Yeung
Emeritus Professor in the Department of Finance and Department of Strategy and Policy,
NUS Business School
Professor Bernard Yeung has been Visiting Chair Professor, Dean’s Advisor, and Changjiang Scholar at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) since August 2023. He is also Emeritus and Founding President of the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economics Research, and Emeritus Professor at NUS Business School, where he served as Dean (2008–2019). Previously, he was the Stephen Riady Distinguished Finance and Strategic Management Professor at NUS Business School (2008-2023) and the Abraham Krasnoff Professor of International Business and Economics NYU Stern (1999-2008), Professor at the the University of Michigan (1988-1999), and the University of Alberta (1983-1988).
Professor Yeung has published widely in top journals and has over 34,000 citations. His honors include the Public Administration Silver Medal (Singapore, 2018), the Irwin Outstanding Educator Award (2013), and Fellowship of the Academy of International Business. He also holds advisory roles in academia and industry. He earned his BA from the University of Western Ontario and his MBA and PhD from the University of Chicago.

Professor Danny Quah
Li Ka Shing Professor in Economics,
Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, NUS
Danny Quah is Li Ka Shing Professor in Economics at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, NUS. He works on world order, economic growth and development, and inequality and income mobility. In his research on world order, Quah analyses the supply and demand of international systems, contrasting the goals of the Great Powers and the needs of the global community. Quah's work on income mobility challenges conventional narratives on inequality, highlighting the broad diversity of economic experiences across nations. He seeks to help shape global economic and geopolitical discourse through academic research, public commentary, as a member of World Bank President's Economic Advisory Panel and other public commissions, and in advisory roles at World Economic Forum, UNDP, and government agencies and ministries.
After his AB from Princeton and PhD from Harvard, Quah served as Assistant Professor of Economics at MIT and then Professor of Economics and International Development at LSE.
Quah is the author of “The Global Economy’s Shifting Centre of Gravity”.

Dr Adrian Kuah
Director, Futures Office,
Office of the President
National University of Singapore
Dr Adrian WJ Kuah is the founding director of the National University of Singapore Futures Office. This Office is located within the Office of the President. He has been working in the strategic foresight space for the last fifteen years, with previous appointments in the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Home Affairs, as well as at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. Dr Kuah’s interests are in public policy, socio-political and economic dynamics, and complexity science. Dr Kuah doctoral training was in economics, but he would like to consider himself a student of different disciplines.
