OVERVIEW
The Master of Science (Environmental Management) (MEM) Concurrent Degree Programme (CDP) aims to develop future environmental and sustainability leaders by providing National University of Singapore (NUS) undergraduate students with advanced interdisciplinary training in environmental management.
As climate change, biodiversity loss, resource constraints and sustainability transitions increasingly influence public policy, business strategy and governance, organisations require professionals who can integrate environmental science with policy analysis, economics, management and stakeholder engagement. The MEM CDP equips students with the knowledge and skills to address these complex challenges through an interdisciplinary curriculum that combines environmental, social, economic and governance perspectives.
The programme aligns with NUS's strategic priorities in sustainability, lifelong learning and societal impact, as well as Singapore's Green Plan 2030. By pairing undergraduate studies with the MSc (Environmental Management) programme, students can deepen their expertise in environmental sustainability while accelerating their preparation for impactful careers across the public, private and non-profit sectors.
