NUS Lifelong Learning (L3) - SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP)
SkillsFuture Career Transition Programmes (SCTPs) is a national workforce initiative by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) for organisations to potentially recruit mid-career individuals with newly-acquired industry-relevant skill sets that are aligned to their firms' business needs. It is a Train-and-Place programme where the SCTP trainees will attend training courses and other immersive learning activities, in addition to NUS' career advisory services and employment facilitation.
To support the SCTPs under a Train-and-Place mode, participating Employer Partners (EPs) can tap on additional sources of manpower and meet their manpower needs by providing mid-career switchers with an opportunity to work in your enterprise.

(SCTP) NUS Sustainability & Resilience Programme is a programme designed by practitioners for practitioners, where you will learn to:

The programme aims to benefit trainees who want to work in the fields of digital transformation, data analytics, and business intelligence. It also provides trainees an understanding of the analytical techniques and tools used in data science and learn how to apply these tools to projects.
By the end of the programme, trainees will have the ability to interpret business specifications, turn insights into creating business value for organisations, and contribute to their organisations' growth and success. They will learn through synchronous sessions, small group work with fellow trainees, hands-on practice, and with the NUS faculty.

At NUS' Faculty of Science (FOS), a suite of short courses is offered via the (SCTP) NUS Data Analytics Programme to prepare trainees for data analyst roles in organisations. Through a series of hands-on instructor-led training as well as supervised coaching on real-world data projects, trainees develop skills to generate reports, dashboards and analytical solutions catered to business specifications, and turn insights into creating business values for organisations.

• Immediate skills application to tackle industry-focused analytics problems through a 35-hr project component

• Articulate various data types, data collection methods as well as data ethics and privacy issues
• Execute data preparation techniques using off-the-shelf products or through scripting

• Predict patterns and trends using machine learning techniques such as classification, regression, clustering and simple forecasting
