NUS Lifelong Learning (L3) - SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP)
SkillsFuture Career Transition Programmes (SCTPs) is a national workforce initiative by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) for organisations to potentially recruit mid-career individuals with newly-acquired industry-relevant skill sets that are aligned to their firms' business needs. It is a Train-and-Place programme where the SCTP trainees will attend training courses and other immersive learning activities, in addition to NUS' career advisory services and employment facilitation.
As an EP, your organisation will be entitled to:

Publicity on NUS website indicating you are an EP for the NUS SCTPs.
To date, NUS is delighted to collaborate with more than 35 EPs across diverse sectors to transform their workforce.

From 1 May 2024, SkillsFuture Credit top-up of $4,000 will provide greater support for mid-career Singaporeans aged 40 years and above to further offset out-of-pocket course fees for the SCTP.
Here's how you can sign up* to become an SCTP trainee

Applicant submits profile brief and resume

- Accuracy and relevancy
- Committee review and recommendations
- Shortlisted applicants will be notified to attend an interview

Candidate enrols as SCTP trainee through NUS Lifelong Learning Application Portal (L3AP)

- SCTP trainee attends pre-employability workshop
- Career advice on resume writing, interview strategies and techniques
- Submission of application is not a confirmation of course enrolment.
- Our course coordinator will notify you only if you are shortlisted for further evaluation after they have reviewed your application.
- Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed.
- Enrolment will only be confirmed upon payment of course fee 14 working days before the commencement of course.
