Programme Fees

Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) Programmes

BTech and BIT students typically take about 4 years and 3 years respectively to complete all degree requirements, with classes on weekday evenings and the occasional weekend. To enable students to better plan for the financing of their studies, BTech and BIT fees are charged on the cohort-based system in practice in NUS since AY2008/09. Under the cohort-based fee system, tuition fees for an intake cohort of students is fixed throughout the student's candidature. While fees continue to be reviewed annually and adjustments made as and when necessary with each new cohort of students, each new cohort will know the approximate total tuition fees they have to pay throughout their candidature. The Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) provides eligible Singaporeans and SPRs taking undergraduate degree or higher qualification programmes for the first time in local universities, even if on a part-time basis, with a substantial tuition fee subsidy
