COURSE OBJECTIVES
Business Analysis is the practice of enabling change in an enterprise by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. It enables an enterprise to articulate needs and the rationale for change and to design and describe solutions that can deliver value.
This course introduces participants to the Business Analysis and its process, the Body of Knowledge in Business Analysis, discusses the role of Business Analysts in organizational problem solving, and the skillsets a Business Analyst must have to perform effective business analysis.
This programme introduces participants to the following:

- The role of Business Analyst in organizations.
- Skillsets a Business Analyst must have to perform effective business analysis.
- Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.
- The Business Analysis process.
Who Should Attend
High school students (Grade 10 – 12) and pre-university students with an interest in business analytics.
Pre-Requisites
Participants are expected to be able to read, write and communicate in English, as the programme will be conducted in English.
Basic understanding of the use of technology in organizations.

Ms Samantha Sow
Senior Lecturer, NUS School of Computing
Ms Samantha Sow is a Senior Lecturer from the Department of Information Systems and Analytics at NUS Computing. She received her Master’s in Education from the University of Sheffield, and a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class) with majors in Communications and Network, from the National University of Singapore. She has over 8+ years of experience in Business Analytics and Data Science and she conducts training for both government agencies and corporate clients.
Before joining NUS, she worked as a lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic. Her technical knowledge and experience lie in various areas, including Data Analytics, Data Visualisations, and Predictive Analytics.
Certificate of Completion
Successful participants who fulfill all program requirements, including meeting the minimum attendance and passing the assessment, will be awarded an e-Certificate of Completion and Assessment Report issued by NUS SCALE.
