Smart cities and technology such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) aim to alleviate these pressures. They also aid urban centres, buildings, and transportation systems to better respond to public health crises, changing climates and increasing population growth.

The 1st Hydrogen Research Centre in Singapore (Centre for Hydrogen Innovations) has been established by NUS to support the nation's target of reducing its Emissions Intensity (EI) by 36% from 2005 levels by 2030.
We actively collaborate with 12 key organisations (e.g. Singapore Land Authority, M1, & Nokia) on digital building technology to combine separate technologies such as IoT sensors, robotics, video analytics, cloud computing, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) into a single, unified platform.
