PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
Over the course of these lectures, participants will gain an understanding of what AI actually is and the basic principles behind it. From these fundamentals, they will then be provided with an overview of the current AI in healthcare landscape, the major domains where AI is being applied, and finally a workable approach to drive the AI application and adoption in the workplace.
With an understanding of AI and its application, participants will have the basic skills and knowledge to allow them to identify opportunities to improve the health outcomes of their patients through AI. This course will also provide participants with a solid foundation to allow them to further develop their AI skillset over the course of their training and careers.
Who Should Attend
This course is targeted towards undergraduate students who intend to follow a career in Nursing or related disciplines.
Pre-Requisites
There are no prerequisites for this course as the material will cover the basics of AI through to advanced applications in Healthcare and Nursing.

Dr Amirhassan Monajemi

Amir is a Senior Lecturer with the School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS). Before joining the NUS, he was with the Faculty of Computer Engineering, University of Isfahan, Iran, where he was serving as a professor of AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science. He has taught artificial intelligence courses, including AI, Advanced AI, Expert Systems, Decision Support Systems, Neural Networks, and Cognitive Science since 2005 at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. |
