9 June 2022 — The School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE) had the pleasure of hosting delegates from Université Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL University), accompanied by officials from the Embassy of France in Singapore, for a learning visit on Fri, 3 June 2022.
During the visit, Professor Susanna Leong, Vice Provost (Masters' Programmes and Lifelong Education) and Dean of SCALE, shared details about the Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes and initiatives offered by NUS to build multidisciplinary talents for the Industry 4.0 workplace, as well as instil a lifelong learning mind-set in the learners, regardless of their age or position in the workforce.
PSL University was founded in 2010 and has 11 constituent schools in the fields of science, the arts, literature, and culture. PSL alumni and staff have attained recognition in their fields of study and industry and these include 28 Nobel laureates, 10 Fields Medallists, three Abel laureates, 49 CNRS Gold Medallists, 50 César winners and 79 Molière winners.
