Master of Science in Digital Financial Technology to be managed by NUS School of Computing and NUS Business School

24 November 2022 — The Master of Science in Digital Financial Technology (MSc DFinTech) Postgraduate by Coursework programme will be directly managed and administered by both the NUS School of Computing and NUS Business School, starting from December 2022.

Both schools have been jointly involved since the programme’s inception, through developing the course curriculum with leading experts as well as faculty members with a multitude of industry and work experience.

Associate Professor Huang Ke-Wei, Programme Director for MSc DFinTech, shares on the programme’s journey and its continual evolution.

“The programme has seen a healthy interest with applicants since its beginnings in 2021, which shows the growth and increasing importance of technology within the financial services industries. Although our programme is still new, we are constantly updating our curriculum and have included several new electives on contemporary topics in blockchain applications and financial data analytics. This is in line to keep pace with industry advancements as well as to equip learners with skills to succeed in the competitive workforce.”
